
To gain entry into STAMP you will need to be a Christian with a great desire to live life God's way, passionate about the church and learning, and have an attitude of humility and service.
In addition to these traits, you will need to satisfy the following requirements (scroll further to learn about the recruitment process):
Must be a practicing Christian being a member of the church of Christ, having been baptised into Christ and respecting the Bible as the absolute Word of God. |

| Be prepared to commit a full calendar year to the program. | |
| Be between the ages of 18 and 25. People outside of this age range are invited to apply and will be admitted to the program on a case-by-case basis. | |
| Have an aptitude for study and learning and minimum education qualification equivalent to the school certificate of NSW. Be proficient in english. | |
| The ability to raise $12,000 to $15,000 (per person) to fund your way through STAMP. | |
| Be prepared to live at (or travel daily to) Gosford, NSW for 6 months of the program. | |
| Be prepared to undertake a 6 month field assignment at a congregation in either Australia or New Zealand. | |
| Be willing to conform to a Student Code of Conduct and maintain a Christ-like attitude in all situations. | |
| Be a person of good reputation and character. Satisfy police and other backgrounds to enable you to work with children. | |
| Be a people oriented person who can learn and function well in a team environment. | |
| Able to use a personal computer and own a laptop computer that you can use during STAMP. | |
| Be willing to enjoy a challenge, do things you haven't done before, go places you haven't been and confront your fears. | |
The Recruitment Process

Go to the STAMP Application page and submit your online application. This step is not simply a registration of interest but an actual part of the application process. This application allows us to gather some general information on you. For the 2008 class you need submit you online application by the 18 January, 2008. |

We will then send you a STAMP questionnaire that needs to be completed and returned to us. In the questionnaire we ask you to provide details of identification, references, your career aspirations, a short biography of yourself including how and when you became a Christian, educational qualifications and work experience amongst other things. |

You will then be asked to attend an interview with one of the STAMP staff. This interview could be either face to face or via the telephone. |

Our staff will the conduct reference checks with contacts that you provide in Step 2. Some of these contacts will need to be church leaders, elders, preachers or people that can vouch for your character, attitude, suitability, experience and commitment to Christ. These references are only done with your signed authority. |

Our staff will then conduct background checks with the Australian or New Zealand governments to ascertain any criminal records etc. These checks are necessary to allow you to work in a variety of situations, especially with children and are only completed with your signed authority. |

You will be issued with an acceptance letter that needs to be signed and returned to us. You will also be appointed a key STAMP contact to help with any logistics or arrangements you may have in coming to Gosford. They will also assist you with some of your study preferences. If you get to Step 6 congratulations. We look forward to seeing you at STAMP on the 21 January, 2008 for orientation. |
