Accountability and Responsibility

STAMP as a non-profit organisation is overseen by a board of directors, these being capable and selected individuals. The day to day running of STAMP is facilitated by three Deans, who by nature are automatically board members. The organisation’s parameters are set by a Constitution agreed to by the Gosford eldership.

The Constitution provides the authority and power to the eldership at Gosford to appoint and terminate any directors. All directors are appointed by way of consent from the Gosford elders. This power allows STAMP to be endorsed by the Gosford elders, as the Board of Directors are responsible for strategy and the direction of STAMP. By giving the Gosford elders the power to appoint and terminate directors, they are able to oversee the direction and strategy of STAMP.

Gosford church of Christ Eldership

In a program like STAMP it is important to have the endorsement of a Godly eldership. STAMP is blessed to have the full support and backing of the eldership of the Gosford church of Christ. The elders at Gosford are not involved in the day to day running of STAMP nor its strategic direction (unless some of them are also Directors of the Board). The elders at Gosford will be responsible for the following in relation to STAMP:

        • They will approve the appointment of and if required terminate any Directors of the Board.
        • They will endorse all teachers at STAMP.
        • They will step in to resolve any complex disputes, as required.
